Taylor Parker has built a career centered on space architecture, aerospace infrastructure, and the design of environments that support human activity beyond Earth. Her professional experience includes contributions to advanced technology and aerospace projects, with a particular focus on the planning and development of facilities that enable spaceflight operations. Notably, she served as a Facilities Designer II at SpaceX during formative years, supporting critical infrastructure and operational environments for one of the world’s leading aerospace organizations. She is actively involved in commercial and government architecture projects (working with Powell Studio Architecture) with special emphasis and interest in community projects, parks/recreation, and retail spaces.

Lately, Taylor’s work is focused on advancing space architecture through research, design, and industry engagement. She is the founder of ASTRAEUS, an organization dedicated to space architecture, habitat design, aerospace research, education, and community building. Through ASTRAEUS and her broader professional initiatives, she explores concepts for extraterrestrial habitats, resilient space infrastructure, and emerging technologies that will shape the future of human presence in space. With her co-founder/partner, Eric Ray Howell NCI, who specializes in urban planning and community development, she is developing innovative spaces at both micro and macro scales.

In addition to her professional and research work, Taylor is passionate about teaching and education through work as an adjunct professor at the Academy of Art University. She regularly develops educational programs, mentors undergraduate/graduate students and emerging professionals, and shares knowledge on architecture, aerospace infrastructure, and the future of human habitation beyond Earth. Through workshops, lectures, and community outreach initiatives, she helps inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and space professionals.

Taylor remains actively involved in aerospace-focused collaborations, professional organizations, and interdisciplinary research examining the challenges of living and working beyond Earth. Her long-term vision is to contribute to the development of next-generation space habitats, lunar and planetary infrastructure, and sustainable systems that support humanity’s expansion into space.

In addition to this, she is the owner of Stellar Coffee (a small-batch roasting company on the Space Coast,) a handmade product designer/artist (Tides of the Desert,) novelist, and performance artist/musician (Idol Heart.)

Most importantly, she is a proud mother of two daughters who continue to inspire her curiosity, creativity, and sense of purpose. Looking ahead, Taylor hopes to contribute to the future of architecture both on Earth and beyond, while helping inspire the next generation of designers, innovators, and explorers.
